Prayer Walk 2023
Highlights
God is moving in Temple, TX!
Churches from across Temple gathered together to pray over our city, in downtown Temple, on April 15th, 2023. With beautiful weather, we walked, united in Jesus, to seven different stops highlighting prayer for different areas in our community.
Worship
As people arrived, we began with awesome worship, to prepare our hearts and humble ourselves before the Lord.
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! -Psalm 150:6

Stop 1
Santa Fe Plaza
Here, ministry leaders shared in praying over the lost and hurting in our community; and for Temple schools, for students, faculty, curriculum, and safety.
Stop 2
The Yard
People gather together here at The Yard in downtown Temple to pray for local businesses.

Stop 3
Temple Police Dept.
Here we prayed for the Temple Police Department, for their safety, wisdom, and discernment; and for lower crime rates. And we finished with a big "thank you for your service" to our Police Department.
Stop 4
City Hall
Prayers for City Hall, for our government leaders and laws were lifted up here.
Hands lifted high as we asked for boldness and courage.

Stop 5
Temple Library and First Responders
With the Temple Library in view, we prayed for truth to reign, and for encouragement and discernment for the library staff.
With the Temple Central Fire Station just beyond the Temple Library and out of view, we prayed for wisdom and protection for our First Responders.
Stop 6
Santa Fe Market Trail
Here we prayed for our homeless neighbors, for God's guidance and protection. We also prayed for an end to drug use in our community, and for healing for the lives it affects.

Stop 7
Back at Santa Fe Plaza, we concluded with encouragement for the body of Christ.
"In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven."
Matthew 5:16
